Kansas oversize permits:
Kansas oversize permits are normally obtained before entering the state and are valid for seven days. Permits can also be acquired at Ports of Entry, and you need proof of insurance in a vehicle if you buy a permit at a POE.

Gross on Interstate & Designated routes: 80,000Lbs
On other roads: 85,000 (must be registered for 85,500)
Single – 20,000lbs
Tandem – 34,000lbs
Tridem – 42,000lbs
